I can’t event begin to explain the level of quality dogs they breed . I was lucky enough to purchase a long hair German Shepard and he is stunning ! He is the town celebrity people. Literally stop their car to compliment him. He is two years old and we have never had any health issues !!! He is so smart , at only 10 weeks old we managed to train him to use a bell when he needed to go outside amongst many other tricks he picked up in no time these dogs are brilliant , he is also well behaved and is so great with kids. I appreciate how responsive they are , I reach out often and ask so many questions such as , the type of of food and vitamins I should give him and always get a prompt response . I am very grateful to Merab and his team for blessing us with our fur baby .

In July 2021 my son Brian convinced me to go look at the litter of GS puppies at Von Hismerh. I was only looking. My son said they wern't ready to take home, but they were (he knew they were ready). Within an hour I left Von Hismerh with a healthy, beautiful female GS puppy. Her name is Harley. Very smart. She trained easily. I have seven grandchildren and she is wonderful! She plays with them and lays by their side when they are watching TV or just playing. She is also good with the cats. I do take her to training class twice a week. She likes the stimulation and socialazation with other dogs. I couldn't be happier.

So, I did my research and wound up at Vom Hismerh and am not disappointed. we have had 4 Dobes and Von Hismerh Zoey is our 5th. Let me just say she is beautiful! We get so many compliments on her and she has a wonderful disposition! Merab has been fantastic all through the process of picking a pup and has been especially helpful after getting Zoey home nothing seems too much for him . I really believe he wants his pups to have the best care possible and takes as much time as you need to insure a happy healthy pup! Thank you so much! We love Vom Hismerh and our Zoey!

I’m so happy I found Vom Hismerh. After 40 years of owning a Doberman, I just bought my fifth from Merab. Callie is currently 3 months old and I’ve been impressed since we picked her up. She stunning, incredibly smart and has every Doberman characteristic plus more. I feel I finally have the breed standard with pure Doberman quality. I’m very much looking forward to my days and years ahead, training and loving this pup. Merab answers any and every question I have.. very attentive and knowledgable. I hope and pray he breeds for another 20 years.

We got our first GSD from Merab and he was a pleasure to work with! Our dog Mando is now 6 months old, and he is not only extremely intelligent, but his temperament is perfect! He is GORGEOUS. We constantly receive compliments on how good looking he is, and everyone wants to know where he is from! (I wanted to add some pictures but I don't see a place to do that.) Thank you Vom Hismerh and Merab for our beautiful baby boy. We love him soooo much.

I have never known a German Shepherd of such quality. Jake, is very big, with a gorgeous black face.
Obedient, curious and smart..
A “Gentile Giant”.
When my 3 “very young” grandsons run around playing with him, he is extremely gentle. He looks at them with such fascination...trying to figure these little people out.
Jake will turn 1 year old this February.
Jake has the funniest antics. Those eyes!!!
He will look at me...w his head way upside down while laying down. Makes me laugh hard.
Sitting w him outback, his big eyes are always staring way up at the sky. I love that!
Perfect combination of obedience and confidence.
I love him more than my husband!!!

Hi .me and my family got gsp by Merab about 6 months ago and till this day its been awesome. Merab really puts himself out there when it comes down to his dog's .always available in every moment of the day .I highly recommend him and his kennel to anyone who is look for a loving a beautiful GSD

We are looking for a good breeder to get a doberman puppy from in the next year or so. I am leaning towards a red male. I would love to talk with you at some point and possibly get on a wait list for an upcoming litter.

For a long time, my wife and I had wanted a Doberman and had researched the breed, but had given up hope after trying to research reputable breeders. From the first call to Merab, we knew in that instant that our dreams were about to come true as we got ready to add our new addition to the family.
Meeting Merab and having numerous conversations with him, only confirmed what the positive testimonials were about. He has always answered any question, with a prompt call or text back and it has never been anything short of a positive experience dealing with him.
In regards to our beautiful Doberman...our family is head over heels in Love with her, her beautiful temperament, her loyalty and intelligence..we can't say enough about her. Being a first time Doberman owner is proving to be the best decision ever, as we will be lifelong Doberman owners and will only be dealing with Vom Hismerh in the future. A huge thank you to this breeder for everything that you do to bring these beautiful animals into our lives, while preserving the unique qualities of what a true Doberman was meant to possess. My male Dobie is getting old now. The one before him died suddenly from cancer. It took me a year to replace her with him. I have a female also, much younger than him. I don't want to take that long to replace this male after he is gone. I know that I want a teenage black and tan European male Dobie. I want to find a breeder that I am comfortable with in advance so when I get to that point I can work with them to find what I am looking for.

I bought a WGSL pure breed GSD from Vom Hismerh (Merab Khiskiadze) at 10 weeks, litter X, (dad Djambo mom Olivia) with all documents. She is now 17 weeks. I can’t walk 100 yards without people stopping on their way to appreciate, pet and cuddle her! I have had people stopping their car to get out to see my pup- it’s simply unbelievable. So far, she is easily trainable and seems to have a superb temperament, has excellent color and seems to be developing a black and red medium coat.
I am very impressed how diligent, devoted and professional Vom Hismerh kennel is when it comes to responsibly breeding GSDs not only as a full time Breeder but for the betterment of the breed as a whole. Their endeavors in the show ring is remarkable (and I insist people to follow them on Facebook) and their constant replenishing of European bloodlines is so admirable. Merab is also very helpful and reasonable if you need to board your dog for short vacations etc - I just did. Don’t look anywhere else if you are looking for purebreds German Shepherds in the tristate area. In short, while I continue to train my puppy I am so far very happy with what I got. I will probably update my recommendation later again.

Found our beautiful Riley, female GSD at Vom Hismerh kennel. July 4, 2018. She is now 8 months old and doing great! She beautiful and very friendly. Great with kids and family! Merah has been very helpful and always available with any concerns we had. Highly recommend Vom Hismerh Kennel for a great companion you will love and spend many great years together.

Bought a male Doberman (ushy) from them in June of 2007. Such an amazing k9. He always gets complimented for being so handsome. The dog is still going with no signs of giving up yet. He’s just now starting to get hip Dysplasia (common at this age note I bought him in June 2007. it’s now October of 2018) but for his age and the dysplasia issue he still thinks he’s a puppy. Well worth every penny I spent on him from this breeder. You can see pics of him on Instagram I’m @h8ncars

I have had minimal problems and minimal common health problems from this Doberman.

I searched for a high-quality German Shepherd and found Merab's Kennel Vom Hismerh. I absolutely LOVE my girl and she is so smart and beautiful, not to mention sweet, yet protective. She has nerves of steel and runs toward strange noises, exactly what I want! I love her so much that I actually went back a few months later and purchased another! Now I have two lovely ladies who are amazing. Merab loves his dogs, knows every detail about all of them and is passionate about bettering the breed. Great experience.

We can’t say enough good about this breeder! Our GSD is so sweet and SMART! Day three and he’s already potty training and following simple commands. He is so loving with my children also. Beyond thrilled and happy!
